How AbeShield uses your data

AbeShield is operated by AbeShield Technology Limited, a data-enabled financial services platform operating in the CBN Regulatory Sandbox (Cohort 2, Non-VASP track). We process personal data under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and the NDPA 2023 on the lawful basis of consent, and where required, legal obligation for AML/CFT.

What we collect: account metadata, consented transaction histories, hashed identifiers (NIN/BVN are never stored in plaintext), device signals if you opt in, and records of your consents and our agent decisions.

What we do not do: sell data; use it for unrelated marketing; allow an AI agent to move funds or file an STR without a human compliance officer when risk is elevated.

You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not erase records we must keep for regulatory accountability. Contact the Data Protection Officer via the operator named in your onboarding pack.
